Tough, Tough Loss

Ouch. I don't even want to write about this game, so I'll give a quick synopsis and get into more depth in the next few days.

-The Patriots couldn't find the end zone today. The team was in the red zone three times and came away with three FGs. You can't win when you don't score any touchdowns.

-Although Brady wasn't sacked today, Brady was under a lot of pressure all day. This was the second straight week the o-line struggled to give Brady enough time, and as a direct result the Pats could not experiment with the deep ball.

-Edelman (98 yards) and Galloway (53 yards) put up decent numbers, but they were thrown to a lot. With Moss (24 yards) doubled, they should have been better.

-The defense could not get pressure on Sanchez today. Sanchez was given all day to find open men, and our D did not look particularly good.

Championships aren't won or lost in September. Belichick will find numerous ways to build upon this pathetic performance and the team will be stronger for it.

By the way, we face the Jets at home on November 22nd and we best not forget those 'Brady Sucks' chants.
