Patriots Notes

-Jerod Mayo was spotted in the locker room today wearing a knee brace and on crutches. Cross your fingers on a speedy recovery.

-The Patriots had former New Orleans Saint defensive lineman Antwan Lake in for his second workout in two weeks today. The 30-year old out of West Virginia would add depth, questioning the progression of rookies Ron Brace and Myron Pryor (Pryor was inactive last week after being questionable).

-When asked if he was concerned about Brady's 53 attempts the other night, Belichick gave a 'Belichick' answer: 'We will do whatever we need to do to win.' I feel him.

-Welker was limited in practice again and is questionable, as he was last week; he'll play though.
