-Nice to see V-Mart back. Hopefully that was a little refresher for him.
-Still no Youk who is battling back soreness. No need to rush the grinder back; we need him healthy for playoffs.
-Nick Green, who limped to first the other night after his 'walk', has a sore leg and will be unavailable for a few nights.
-Papelbon is available tonight.
-Since the acquisition of Alex Gonzalez, the Sox have gone from 10th in the AL to 5th in team defense and 17th to 10th in the majors. Defense wins like in '04.
