B's Drop Stars 3-0

The Bruins did a good job getting shots on net last night from all parts of the ice last night. Coming into the game, the Bruins were faced with the challenge of converting on the power play. Savard (2 goals) and Bergeron did the scoring for a B's team that played with a lot of heart last night. Mark Recchi said the Bruins needed to get back to playing 'Bruins hockey', and that is exactly what they did.

NOTES:

-The B's converted their only power play attempt last night after they came into the game ranked 25th in the league, only converting 13.8% of attempts.

-The 24th ranked penalty kill stopped Dallas on all three of their power play opportunities.

-Tim Thomas stopped all 27 shots on net on way to his first shutout of the year on his way to earning the second star of the game.

-The three stars of the game were: C Marc Savaard, G Tim Thomas, and D Zdeno Chara.
