According to Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com, Fred Taylor will undergo ankle surgery. Luckily, he reports it is not of the season-ending variety. Remember when we were complaining about having too many RBs in training camp? I guess they're like starting pitchers in baseball; you can't have enough. With Maroney, Morris, Faulk, and underratedly Green-Ellis, we should be OK. Too bad for the veteran Taylor, who just two games ago went for 100 yards.
