The Pats add MLB depth.

Now that Junior Seau is officially on the roster, the team has released 6'8" NT Terdell Sands. The Pats have plenty of depth at defensive tackle, and Sands was only a fill in (inactive this past week). Seau will get his #55 back, and Derrick Burgess will switch to #53.

The 40-year old is entering his 20th NFL season. He will enter the mix at MLB with Jerod Mayo and Gary Guyton (who has played all but one snap this season). Does this mean the defense will play more of a 3-4 set?

Players not participating in practice today included WR Randy Moss, DE Ty Warren, LT Matt Light, and obviously Fred Taylor.
