The Sox dropped their sixth game in a row tonight, and most of the regulars deservedly got a night off. The lineup was weak:
Gathright - CF
Reddick - LF
Kotchman - 1B
Ortiz - DH
Baldelli - RF
Kottaras - C
Gonzalez - SS
Lowrie - 3B
Woodward - 2B
More importantly and relevant was Tim Wakefield's performance. In his shortest outing of the year, the knuckler gave up five runs in three innings. How can he be on the postseason roster? He has made four starts since the break and has done little. Will it be Wake or Dice-K for the fourth starter role?

I agree- Scary to think of Wake out there in the post season! DA
ReplyDeleteThough he has been great in past playoff performances, do you think his glory days could be drawing to an end? DA
