No Garnett, No Pierce, No Win

We feel your pain, Doc.

Three in a row, just like that. It was tough to watch tonight. Right out of the gate, the C's were over matched by a loaded Suns team that feasted on a depleted Celtics squad that included a 16-0 run in the first. Without Garnett and Pierce, the C's allowed Amar'e Stoudimre to score 18 in the first quarter on 9-10 shooting, and he finished with 26. Channing Frye also scored 26 while knocking in 6 3-pointers.

After going 13-1 on the road coming into this road trip, the C's have dropped 3 in a row out west after a win in Orlando. The C's really had no shot at all with the team not playing good team offense and they were 1-14 from three outside of Eddie House (5-7). They head home to play Toronto on Saturday before heading back on the road for three more. Don't expect to see KG play in that game, as it is speculated that the team will rest him until Wednesday's at Miami.

A tough month of January is coming, so hopefully the Celtics can correct the injury woes and focus on the all important #1 seed, which is very important in this year's stacked Eastern Conference.
