Bruins Lose to Lowly Canes 5-1
The Bruins hit a low this evening, as they dropped their 5th straight game to the 16-28-7 Hurricanes. Having dropped nine of their last eleven, the B's now sit 9th in the conference after being as high as 3rd.
Tim Thomas questionably made the second of back-to-back starts and was totally ineffective yet again. Timmy T stopped only 11 of 15 shots before being pulled in favor of Tuukka Rask in the second period. Rask stopped 4 of the 5 shots he saw.
The squad has struggled mightily to score as of late and the flurry of injuries obviously aren't helping. With no game until Friday, the B's will get to rest up before a tough stretch of games.
