*UZR/150 is a sabermetric number of runs above or below average a fielder is, per 150 defensive games. Zero is an average fielder.

2010 Outlook: Pedroia understandably saw his huge 2008 numbers fall a tad last season. He is the perfect #2 hitter in this line-up, and like Kevin Youkilis, he is as consistent as they come. It was nice to see his eye improve at the plate as his walks total increased by 24 from his previous career high. His defense at the second base position is excellent as evidenced by his back to back Gold Gloves. It's amazing how many balls the 5'9" (a very generous listing) Pedroia gets to in the field. Look for Dusty to have another superb season.

Next up: Jacoby Ellsbury
