Bruins Making Playoff Push
With the Bruins narrowly clinging to the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, the team must continue a high level of productivity over the final couple of weeks in order to catapult themselves into the postseason.
In wake of the injury to veteran leader Marc Savard, the team has collectively picked up its play. Guys like Sturm, Krejci, and Bergeron will have to be big contributors for the remainder of the season and the playoffs if the team hopes to continue its success. The Bruins have received outstanding goaltending from the young Tuukka Rask who has done everything that the team has asked and more. He must continue to perform at a very high level if the Bruins have any hope of advancing beyond the first round.
Milan Lucic's health is improving by the day, and the young aggressor continues to regain his confidence out on the ice with each passing day. He will be another key member of the squad as the team hopes that they can put together a memorable playoff push.
This team is a roller coaster ride to watch these days, as they look great one night and terrible on another. Some sort of consistency is needed for this important push.
