Dear loyal readers,
I have been scooped off of the waiver wire my friends. Your beloved blog for Boston sports will be taking a break for the foreseeable future, as I have taken a position with another blog.
I will be joining bostonsportsthenandnow.com and will be contributing with roughly three posts per week. This is an up in coming site as they have found a niche combining analysis of current events in Boston sports with perspective on past events.
The past several years have been tremendous for Boston sports as we have established ourselves as the greatest sports city in America. This site will help remind you of our successes even in the event of blowing 3-0 series leads or getting ousted in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
I hope you are able to follow my work over at Boston Sports Then and Now. Please feel free to keep in touch with me via Twitter @inbostonsports and insidebostonsports@gmail.com if you are craving for my take on anything Boson sports.
Thank you for a great ten months here at Inside Boston Sports.
Until we meet again.
Carl

How To Get the Most Out of Inside Boston Sports

Just wanted to shoot you, the viewers of Inside Boston Sports, a quick guide about how to get the most out of your experience on the site.
- First and foremost, you know you can come to the site for a a daily piece with un-matched analysis.
- Don't care to read about a certain team? Utilize the labels located on the right-hand side of the page. We label every post, so if you'd like to see just Patriots news, click the Patriots link and that's all you'll see.
- Looking for something specific on the blog? The search engine under the labels is great and it will bring you to past posts.
- If you have a Twitter account, follow here. If you don't have an account, you should probably make one.
- Is there something you'd like to see on the blog? Is there something you'd like to see more of? Any brilliant ideas? Email us at insidebostonsports@gmail.com.

The Future of Inside Boston Sports

Going forward we at Inside Boston Sports are going to shift the future content of the site. In place of all the daily recaps we offer, we are going to go to more analysis and opinion pieces. The fact is most of you know the score and especially do not want to read about a loss, so we will begin to get away from them.
Based on the site's statistics, we can see posts that cover more big picture stories (ie Red Sox prospects, in-depth Patriots analysis, etc) get clicked on more than the recaps themselves. It's an obvious choice based on what you the viewers enjoy, and it will begin to be easier for us to do than the grind of a gamely post.
Thank you for your loyalty and we hope you will enjoy the great pieces we will be putting together in the future.
What are your thoughts?

Peter Gammons to Join NESN

NESN, the official network of the Boston Red Sox, received a great upgrade to their already solid coverage team this week. Peter Gammons has decided to leave ESPN after 20 years so he could focus more of his time on baseball.
Gammons will be on pre and post game shows for the team for at least 50 games as well as contribute frequently to Red Sox programming. He will also be featured on MLB Network regularly and will work on baseball documentaries for their channel.
It is very exciting to have the 64-year old Hall of Famer's unmatched baseball knowledge, analysis and opinions on NESN. His passion for the Red Sox is well known and we will have the benefit of seeing a lot more Peter Gammons in the future.

Happy Thanksgiving to our Readers
We here at Inside Boston Sports would like to wish our readers & their families a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday.
However, since rumors, scores, & news don't take days off for holidays, neither do we!
Make sure to check in all weekend long for the most recent insight on your favorite Boston sports team.
The Inside Boston Sports family is thankful for our readers, the support you all provide for us, and for both Boston teams to have won on Thanksgiving Eve.

Inside Boston Sports News
Dear readers,
It's been a crazy couple of months to start off the blog.
First off, I would like to thank those who have been reading and those who continue to join and make the site part of their daily reading.
I would like to introduce the staff of the site as well, as we are just about rounding off the crew that will be writing for you.
Carl Desberg (that's me): I will be writing about the Red Sox, Celtics, and Patriots
Joe Bliss: Joe will be writing about all things Red Sox.
Ryan Gold: Ryan will be the editor of the site and will be reading over mostly every post to make sure it is a smooth read for all of you. Ryan also will be contributing to Patriots posts when he can.
Paul Roth: Paul just joined us, and he will be writing about the Bruins when he can.
It is a pretty solid group, and we will do our best to continue to make this a one-stop spot for all things Boston sports in between our school work.
Also, if you have any questions, comments, ideas, etc, please email us at insidebostonsports@gmail.com anytime!
