-Brady and the offense looked great on the second series ending in a Chris Baker TD. Brady aired it out DEEP twice. Once resulting in a long pass interference and the second an INT. Final numbers: 10-15 100 yards, 2/1 TD/INT, 97.5 passer raiting.
-Rookie 7th round pick Julian Edelman took over Wes Welker's slot duties and he looks like a carbon-copy. Edelman returned a punt for a 75-TD showing great burst and ability to make cross fields easily. He also made a tackle on special teams.
-The 4-3 defense is upon us. With the depth clearly on the d-line, the four down lineman put good pressure on McNabb. Wilfork, Ron Brace, and sixth-round DT Myron Pryor played especially well on the inside.
-Laurence Maroney started the game at RB. He still seemed a bit indecisive at the line of scrimmage.
-David Thomas played some fullback and had good blocks on consecutive plays. This versatility will definitely help him and his status on the roster.
-Leigh Bodden and Jonathan Wilhite started at corner and both looked good.
-Newly acquired DE/LB Derrick Burgess got a lot of playing time.
-Chris Baker had two TD catches while getting the majority of the snaps with the first team. His second TD capped off a 10-play 75-yard drive.
-First round pick Patrick Chung blocked a field goal. Gotta love it.
-Andrew Walter was the first QB off of the bench ending Brady's night. He took a knee to finish off the first half.
