The Patriots have announced that the following players are inactive for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay: wide receiver Julian Edelman, running back Fred Taylor, cornerback Terrence Wheatley, running back Sammy Morris, offensive lineman Rich Ohrnberger, offensive lineman Kendall Simmons, offensive lineman Matt Light and defensive lineman Ron Brace.
Light, Morris, Edelman, and Taylor all were obvious inactives based on practice participation this week.
Wheatley, Simmons, Ohrnberger, and Brace are all last on the depth chart at their respective positions.
LB Adalius Thomas is active today after being a surprise inactive last week. Look for Thomas to prove he can still contribute early in the game today.
Look forward to a one-sided game today as the Pats look to explode offensively against a weak Bucs defense.
