Sturm goes down.After yesterday afternoon's thrilling 5-4 OT victory in Game 1 against the Philadelphia Flyers, it was reported that Bruins forward Marco Sturm left the game with a "serious" right leg injury.
A team source says that the injury is significant enough to force Sturm out for the remainder of the playoffs. A contributor all season long, his absence from the lineup will force the team to step up even more. However, he has been quite silent in the playoffs thus far.
The Bruins can't seem to shake the injury bug, but let's hope the latest one doesn't deter them from a deep playoff run.
UPDATE: It's a torn ACL and MCL for Sturm.
