It's late. I'm tired. The Sox lost 2-0 on an A-Rod walk-off in the 15th off of recently called up and last man in the pen Junichi Tazawa. Despite great defense (JD Drew, Victor Martinez) and spectacular pitching (Becket was the stopper), the Yankees edged the Sox. When the pitching shows up, the offense doesn't can't seem to get it together.
4.5 behind the Yanks.
2.5 up in the Wild Card still.
Maybe I should stop blogging. The Red Sox are 0-4 since the site launched.
I will be on vacation until Tuesday night. Until then my buddy Steve will be posting some.
Tough luck game for the sox I think. Reddick has two homers go foul, at least a half dozen liners that hung up just long enough to be caught, and bloopers falling in all over for the Yanks. Just need to get home and get healthy fast and maybe they can make another run at this. Still plenty of games against NYY left
