Later Kevin O'Connell

The Patriots released last year's third round pick QB Kevin O'Connell this afternoon. O'Connell hasn't impressed this preseason when given a chance to be Brady's backup with Cassel gone. The writing was on the wall when the team signed Andrew Walter, a Raider cast-off. The only other QB on the roster is undrafted rookie free agent Brian Hoyer out of Michigan State. Looks like the team admitted a mistake quickly, but who do you think they will look for as another backup? Comment.
