Red Sox Take on the Yanks for Three

The Sox made two roster moves today. Rocco Baldelli was activated from the DL and OF Brian Anderson was optioned back to Triple-A. Baldelli's bat will be a great addition when he subs in for JD. The Sox optioned RHP Fernando Cabrera back to Pawtucket and recalled Michael Bowden. Bowden provides a fresh arm for the series, as he can pitch multiple innings if Penny or Tazawa have short outtings; he was supposed to start tomrrow for the PawSox.

Tonight's lineup reads the same as last night. The Sox need the bats to keep raking in this series; especially with the back-end of the rotation going for us. The Sox are 6.5 games back, and this series will go a long way in determining whether we will be battling for the division of wild card.
